The Full Picture: Tackling accessibility to deliver high-quality care
October 12, 2020
Headland Family Medicine serves a mostly rural patient population, many of whom are at high risk for diabetes, heart disease, and by virtue, COVID-19. The support they receive from their athenahealth Customer Success Manager has helped them maintain their focus through the pandemic on empowering patients to be active participants in their care. In the “Thriving on the Frontlines” docuseries, see how personal relationships and the ability to share a full picture of health with the patient easily has helped change the prognoses and lives of the Headland community.
“When I think of empowering my patients, I want them to believe that they have the ability to make their health better and reach their health goals themselves. To take back control of their health.” — Dr. Niel Rasmussen, Headland Family Medicine
Thriving on the Frontlines: Stories of Resilience and Resolve is a five-part video series that takes viewers inside the stories of four athenahealth customers as they chart new paths for their practices in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. View the full series.
