athenahealth is a member and early implementer of Carequality, an initiative of the Sequoia Project. Carequality is a public-private, multi-stakeholder collaborative that has come together to help providers share clinical data across multiple networks to improve patient outcomes. This community, drawn from many parts of the healthcare ecosystem, uses a consensus-based process to develop a common interoperability framework, including legal and technical specifications, to enable seamless connectivity across all participating networks.
