Direct is a secure electronic exchange protocol required for the Meaningful Use Health Information Exchange measure. As part of our vision to build a national health information backbone, athenahealth provides all services needed to allow our clients to easily and securely send and receive Summary of Care Records via Direct Messaging.

As a trusted referral partner of athenahealth clients, we now need your help. In order to continue to grow this directory and ensure that more structured health data can be sent electronically between points of care instead of by fax, we need your provider’s and facility’s Direct Addresses.
