This competition — held each spring and fall — recognizes the world’s best digital health resources. athenaTelehealth received a Silver Award for Connected Digital Health: Telehealth/Remote Patient Learning.

Our winning entry was chosen from more than 400 submissions that were judged by a panel of distinguished experts in digital health media, including folks from WebMD, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and Medical City Healthcare. Also, some recent award winners have included: AARP, Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans, Humana, Mayo Clinic, and UnitedHealth Group.

The Digital Health Awards^® program is organized by the Health Information Resource Center_[sm](HIRC), a national clearinghouse for professionals who work in consumer health fields. Other well-known HIRC programs include the annual National Health Information Awards_[sm], (healthawards.com) which annually recognizes the nation’s best consumer health programs and materials (for non-digital resources), and the annual National Women’s Health & Fitness Day^® (fitnessday.com/women).
