athenahealth is proud to announce the company has earned a Silver award in the “Employer of the Year – Health Products & Services” category in the sixth annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers.

The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best companies to work for and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements, and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great workplaces. The Stevie Awards received more than 950 nominations from organizations of all sizes in 29 nations this year for consideration in a wide range of HR-related categories, including Employer of the Year, Achievement in Workplace Safety & Compliance, and Chief Human Resources Officer of the Year, among others.

The judges specifically cited athenahealth’s D&I initiatives, including the Parity Pledge to advance women and people of color in corporate leadership, the COVID-19 related support provided to our India-based colleagues, the introduction of Wellness Coaching services, and our focus on stability during a challenging period. This achievement represents the best of who we are at athenahealth; we are proud to be recognized by the Stevie Awards.

According to the Stevie Awards, more than 70 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s winners, who will be honored during a virtual awards ceremony on November 17.
