In order for health care to work as it should, we believe its biggest challenges should be met with transparency. For the fourth year in a row, together with our partners at Epocrates, we've surveyed physicians across America for their opinions on topics like the effect of EHRs on patient care, the future of independent practices and the shift to new payment models.
Across the survey, one sentiment was clear: Physicians are worried. We learned that more than 60 percent of providers believe the current health care climate is somewhat-to-very detrimental to care—a consistent trend since our PSI survey began.
At times like these, it may be hard for caregivers to know what to expect next. What they know for sure is that there will be more challenges in the years to come. And we're listening.
