Our latest integrated athenaClinicals release, Version 10.6, has been inspected by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®) and is certified EHR technology (IFR Stage 1), preliminarily meeting 24 of 24 requirements for Eligible Providers, as published by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in the Interim Final Rule.**

With the athenaClinicals electronic health record service, clinical rules are embedded in your patient encounters, giving you instant access to drug interaction alerts, drug allergy alerts, and information needed for Pay for Performance reporting, making the information you need available at the point of care. Finally, a reporting system helps you monitor your progress in fulfilling criteria for payment. When used in conjunction with athenaCollector®, the system flags potential billing errors in the billing tab integrated with and accessible from the electronic health record, so you can fix them before they cause problems.
Our Clinical Intelligence Team continually monitors emerging requirements for the HITECH Act, PQRI, and other government and payer-driven incentive programs. For clients using our integrated athenaClinicals-athenaCollector solution, our specialists also take on the work of submitting P4P data to payers to help secure payment. We make sure that your electronic health record system meets these standards and helps you optimize your earned reimbursement. Our Document Services team takes on the bulk of your paperwork and your most labor-intensive administrative tasks, so you can focus on providing quality care. We receive and route faxed clinical information to practice members and patient charts. And we tie incoming results to the original orders in your electronic health records, closing the loop on patient encounters for effective and timely follow-up.
In addition to closed loop order management, we free up more of your time by giving you an electronic health records solution that handles tasks such as:
