2008 LiveBenchmarking Program and Q1 Winners
One of the benefits of being an athenahealth client is real-time visibility into practice performance provided through LiveBenchmarking. LiveBenchmarking arms athenahealth clients with metrics that help determine where they need to focus their time and attention like number of claims being “held” from submission because of an error. LiveBenchmarking also enables clients to see how they are performing compared to other clients in their region and specialty.
With this type of visibility, it’s no surprise that many athenahealth’s clients rave about LiveBenchmarking. “We use Live Benchmarking at every level in our business,” said Trey Schroeder, executive vice president/chief operating officer of Texas Medical and Surgical Associates. “At the highest level, it helps our staff take a proactive approach to billing. It’s also a powerful marketing tool when we recruit new physicians to the practice.”
The LiveBenchmarking metrics are computed each quarter and the top three winners in each region and specialty are recognized and rewarded. To incent and motivate hardworking clients, each quarterly first place winner will receive one free admission to the 2008 athenahealth User Conference taking place September 14–16, 2008 in Boston.
