We just wrapped up our biggest, most information-packed and fun-filled conference to date. Here are some of the highlights...
With more content than any other user conference including MGMA, this year’s athenahealth User Conference was full of useful information for enhancing practice performance. Hands-on classes like Pre-Visit: Ensuring You’re Ready Upstream to Avoid Downstream Problems and Post Visit: Claim Editing, Kickcodes, EOBs, and More featured classrooms where participants got real-world practice on computer screens.
Level two classes focused on performance management and included Best Practices in Managing Self-Pay and Financial Performance: How Do I Stack Up? Level three classes captivated the strategists in the audience with classes such as How to Recruit and Build a Culture of Accountability and Future Health Care Trends, a conversation with Todd Park, athenahealth’s Chief Development Officer. Classes were offered multiple times for ease of access. During each break there were ongoing demonstrations of athenaClinicalsSM, athenahealth’s unique approach to EMRs.
In addition to the classroom environment, conference participants were invited to networking lunches so that clients could get to know one another. And there was no shortage of fun activities in the evening, including our night in Monte Carlo, where we tried our hands at black jack, poker, craps and roulette, with lots of music and dancing.
