athenahealth's 5th Annual User Conference: If you couldn't make it, read on...
No time after a long day at work to figure out the wizards or explore athenaNet functions that would make your life easier? Need help strategizing about maximizing payer reimbursement? The annual athenahealth User Conference is the place to learn all of that and more. With more content than any other user conference including MGMA, this year's athenahealth User Conference hosted 30 classes chock full of useful information for enhancing practice performance. Classes on Demystifying the Wizards and How to Create Clean Charges boasted classrooms donned with large screen computers for hands-on practice.
Level two classes focused on performance management included Best Practices on Month End Reconciliation and Schedule Optimization. Level three classes intrigued the strategists in the audience with classes such as Jonathan Bush's Entrepreneurship and Strategy Development and Organizational Culture as a Strategic Asset. Classes were offered multiple times for ease of access and during each session there was a demonstration of athenaClinicals, athenahealth's unique approach to EMRs.
In addition to the classroom environment, conference participants were invited to networking lunches arranged by region and by practice specialties so that clients could get to know one another.
Back by popular demand as the guest speaker was Andy Stefanovich, founder of Play, the creative consultancy headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. Andy spoke about how to keep your mind clear and your thinking fresh, how to have fun and how to keep athenaNation energized and engaged in solving the billing crisis we are all facing.
And if conference participants didn't have enough fun during the day, athenahealth hosted a Carnival Theme Party on Thursday night in the hotel ballroom. As a line of clients waited to have their fortune taken, others watched the juggler ride around on a unicycle.
athenahealth employees and clients together donned glittery party hats and some even dared to do the limbo while Jonathan Bush was holding the stick!
On Friday afternoon clients headed home with a new bag of tricks to maximize athenaNet's performance in the office. And as another busy Monday began, a new burst of energy emanated from the 200 client organizations represented at athenahealth's 5th annual User Conference. Will you be there next year?
