In addition to our partnership with Physician Practice Magazine, we've undertaken another initiative to convert our knowledge about best practices into active healthcare reform. On the weekend of January 21st, we held our first athena Institute in Las Vegas. We were very proud to host Nancy Koehn, associate professor at Harvard Business School, and a business historian and authority on strategy, branding, and customer service. Professor Koehn led the class of 15 clients and 15 prospective clients as they explored the stages of organizational development at the simulated Happy Valley Medical Group.

Breakout sessions were chaired by athena senior managers, Professor Koehn, as well as by Ruben King-Shaw, former Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Congratulations to our first class!
