When asked their overall opinion of electronic health records (EHR) systems, most physicians responded positively, with 71% of all 2012 respondents saying they have a somewhat favorable or very favorable opinion of EHRs.
While this positive opinion is shared by nearly three-quarters of physicians, the percentage in our 2011 survey was even higher. The biggest difference? Those who had a "very favorable" viewpoint dropped nearly 18% since the 2011 survey.
